According to TheGamer, footage playtest appears to have been streamed by a Twitch user going by the handle anto_merguezz. This playtest let a select few players test out early versions of the game to aid developers in improvement. Although there aren’t any stream snippets on anto_merguezz’s page, it looks like someone recorded the stream and shared it online, mostly on Reddit.
The clip looks to validate the “modern” scenario described by Vince Zampella previously. This distinguished it from prior Battlefield games with historical or futuristic backgrounds.
