BMW M2 is the latest of the M series lineup from BMW and it’s price in India is not understandable. The BMW M series are known for their sheer track packages and power. The M division of the brand is sure as hell good at the job they do. They have been making amazing cars since the 80s. Most notably the M3 e46 and M5. However, the newer models have been a bit lacking for certain enthusiasts. Especially in the late 2010s, the M logo was really losing its meaning. Let’s see if the BMW M2 is a race bred supercar, or just another disappointment.

The Price And Power
First lets talk about the main thing we are here for. The price of this machine. And considering it’s a “supercar”, its definitely not cheap.
The BMW M2 price in India is nearly 1.27 Crore Rupees.
There is said it, straight and simple. That was kinda expected since its already a high powered, track bred car. And the Indian taxes don’t do it any favors either. The cost is higher than the last M2 from 2016. Let’s now talk about if the price is justified.
The car is a coupe, as is clearly seen. There is still place in the back for 2 passengers but not much. The engine generates 460 Horsepower and is lifted straight from M3 and M4 of this generation. However, the other 2 output much more power than the M2. The drive feels a bit stiff specially compared to 2016 M2. But the new offers better performance overall.
If we talk i about the looks, i don’t really feel much. The overhaul design is good but the front and rear kinda throw me off. The cubical vents make the look aftermarket compared to the curves on the other areas. In my opinion, the 2016 M2 looked miles better. the curves and the blue paint made it look really luxurious. The new one on the other hand, looks half assed.
