Koei Tecmo America has released a new trailer for the action RPG Fate/ Samurai Remnant. The trailer previews the game’s story, which is set in the Edo period of Japan, as well as its action-packed gameplay.

The game follows Miyamoto Iori, a young man who finds himself caught up in a battle between seven pairs of Masters and Servants. The Masters are humans who have summoned Servants, powerful warriors from history and mythology, to fight in the Holy Grail War. The winner of the Holy Grail War will be granted one wish.

The trailer shows Iori exploring the streets of Edo, fighting Servants in intense battles, and crafting weapons and items. The game is being developed by Omega Force, the team behind the Dynasty Warriors series.

Fate/Remnant is scheduled to be released in Japan on September 28, and on September 29 outside of Japan. The game will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC (via Steam), and Switch.

The game is being supervised by Type-Moon and Aniplex. The characters are being designed by Rei Wataru, and the story is being supervised by Hikaru Sakurai and Yuichiro Higashide. The intro video is being animated by CloverWorks
