Fitvely, a health YouTuber was recently scammed by the Indian police while travelling in India.
Fitvely was driving in India when he was pulled over by the police for crossing the yellow line. The police officer demanded a fine of 5,000 rupees (approximately $78 USD), but Fitvely only had 4,500 rupees on him. Fitvely was suspicious of the situation but didn’t want to make a scene, so he paid the fine. However, after the incident, Fitvely learned that the police officer had been caught scamming other tourists. The officer had been suspended from duty and was under investigation.
Fitvely is now speaking out about his experience in order to warn other travellers about the dangers of being scammed by the Indian police. He also wants to bring attention to the issue of the people who planning to travel to India.
