Players can initiate events in the Mammoth Avenger, which has been transformed into an aerial command post, with this update. Players will be able to engage in combat with San Andreas largest private military. They will able to do these missions with friends a the group of elite mercenaries. There will be entirely new missions to complete.

A lot of quality of life improvements are also introduced. Such as, Players will soon be able to use a hold to sprint option. This will eliminate the need to frantically tap a button to increase speed while walking. They will also be able to claim all of Mors Mutual’s destroyed vehicles in a single swoop. More automobiles will be eligible for ‘Taxi Work’ missions, there will be personalized tagging options for owned vehicles, and the Creator mode will get more props and weather elements.

There are reportedly many more enhancements coming, with Rockstar Games stating that they were “inspired by direct feedback from the community.” We’ll learn more in the following days, but the San Andreas Mercenaries update has a lot more in store.

However, it is yet to be seen if the name San Andreas has something to do with GTA San Andreas or not. This is due to the fact that GTA San Andreas is probably the most fondly remembered and arguably the best in the series. So it makes sense that the some throw backs to the game will attract some more players.
