Jujutsu Kaisen, a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, has taken the world by storm. Ever since its serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018, fans eagerly awaited its anime adaptation. In October 2020, their wishes were fulfilled when the renowned animation studio MAPPA brought the manga to life in a thrilling TV anime that ran for 24 episodes. Now, as the Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 kicks off, fans can brace themselves for even more intense action and suspense.

Gege Akutami Really likes the Anime

Jujutsu Kaisen author, Gege Akutami stated that he really liked the anime adaptation. He praised the anime adaptation for its great direction. Gege Akutami thoroughly enjoyed that first season of the anime and asked fans to watch it.

Gege Akutami also drew a sketch to express his appreciation.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Information

The first Season of Jujutsu Kaisen ran in 2020 for 24 episodes. The second season of the Anime will air from 6 July for 6 months. The first 3 months will cover the Hidden Inventory Arc while the other 3 months will cover the Shibuya Incident Arc.
