The Indian smartphone market is abuzz with the news of the upcoming launch of Lava Agni 2 5G in India. The device will debut in the market on May 16, 2023. Agni 2 will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, making it one of the most powerful mid-range 5G handsets available in the market. The Lava Agni 2 5G has a modern design, featuring a 6.5-inch InCell LCD touchscreen display with a full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. A smartphone with an 8MP selfie camera and Gorilla Glass 3 protection also sports a punch-hole cutout. The handset measures 161.7 x 75.3 x 8.7mm, making it quite comfortable to hold.


Processor, RAM, and Storage


the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, an octa-core processor powers the device. 6GB of RAM accompanied this, which offers good multitasking performance for the device. A microSD card can increase the device’s internal capacity from 128GB to 1 TB.

The handset features a triple-rear camera setup, which consists of a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, we equipped the device with an 8MP selfie shooter.

Out of the box, the Lava Agni 2 5G comes with the Android 11 OS, along with the company’s proprietary Loxy UI.
