Halo has always been the poster child of the Xbox. It is the mascot of the team green. While Xbox does not have many exclusives, Halo is the one that springs up in the mind first. However, in the last couple of years, the console has been losing its exclusivity. And now, it seems like the next Halo might be coming to the PS5.

Next Halo Game On The PS5
As the series begins its revival, the developer is presently hiring new talent to work on the next game. The said game is rumoured to be a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. Surprisingly though, it appears that the upcoming Halo game might be available on PS5, Xbox One, and PC.
Halo was mentioned as a future project that new hires at Audiokinetic. It is a Sony Interactive Entertainment-owned audio software provider, will be working on in a job advertisement.
The entire advertisement “You will collaborate with audio programmers, the audio team, and other disciplines as the Senior Technical Sound Designer to integrate audio into Unreal and Wwise for future Halo titles”. This does appear to imply that Halo will be available on the PlayStation 5 in some way. Furthermore, the evidence grows when you look at the number of Xbox IPs that have been moved to the PS5 this year.
It’s unclear whether this indicates a port of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and its companion games is imminent, but it does seem likely.
