According to the newly leaked render and specs, the upcoming Oppo A98 5G is a phone to watch out for. The device is to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. This is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Oppo A9x.

Oppo A98 Specs

This latest leak shows that the Oppo A98 5G will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also expected the display to have an in-display fingerprint scanner. We expect the device to have a 4,900 mAh battery with support for 50W of fast charging.

The most impressive feature of the Oppo A98 5G is the processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SoC. This chipset is based on an 8nm process and offers better performance than the Oppo A9x. We expect the device to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The device is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup in terms of camera. It consists of a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. They estimate a 16MP selfie camera on the front of the gadget.

We expect the Oppo A98 5G to run on Android 11 out of the box and be available in two color options–Blue and White. The price of the device will probably be in the mid-range level. It will compete with other mid-range 5G offerings from other brands like Xiaomi, Realme, and Vivo.
