Marvel Rivals

In a March 27 news release, Marvel Games and NetEase Games announced Marvel Rivals. It is a new free-to-play team-based PVP shooter starring a slew of Marvel superheroes and villains. The game will have 6v6 third-person combat set in a range of interactive venues and environments.

The game’s confirmed playable characters include Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Groot, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Luna Snow, Magik, and Magneto. Mantis, Namor, Peni Parker, Rocket Raccoon, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Storm, Star-Lord, and The Punisher are all equipped with their special attacks and powers.

Marvel Rivals will also offer ever-changing gameplay thanks to dynamic and destructible surroundings that can move and evolve during conflicts. This is in addition to Team-Up Skills. Players may unlock by combining the synergistic skills and abilities of certain pairs of characters.

NetEase Senior Vice President, Ethan Wong, stated that the business is “excited to collaborate with Marvel Games to deliver a thrilling, fast-paced cooperative gameplay experience featuring all of your favourite Super Heroes.” This cooperation with Marvel Games demonstrates our commitment to building world-class development teams and providing cutting-edge experiences to global consumers.”
