The Spider-Man series developed by Insomniac Games is a total hit. And it’s no surprise that Spider-Man 2 is making fans really eager. The original game and then the Miles Morales game cemented Insomniac as the definitive developers for the series. And now, since the Story trailer just dropped, let’s what it’s all about.

Spider-Man 2 Story
The Story features both protagonists, Peter Parker and Miles Morales working together. This was already confirmed way before the trailer dropped but it’s still as exciting as ever. As shown by the trailer, the character will be focusing more on their personal life. However, this doesn’t mean that the game will be short of any heroic set pieces. The story also features Harry Osborne, as a functional human being this time.
The city is threatened by Kraven this time. He and his goons are hunting something and wreaking havoc in the city. However, the heroes don’t know what it is yet.
Turns out it’s the Alien Symbiote. The iconic Black Spider-Man and Venom make their appearance in Spider-Man 2. The trailer shows Peter losing his sanity and morals because of the symbiote and it’s now Mary Jane’s and Miles’ duty to save Peter.
Players can also play as the Black Spider-Man with all-new symbiote powers and more aggressive moves. It’s not yet confirmed however if players can play as the Venom. It’s unlikely, but it will be really cool if it happens. The trailer also showcases the wingsuit which combined the New York scenery, reminds me a lot of Prototype. The wingsuit will make traversal even faster because Spider-Man 2 will also feature an expanded map with additions like East River, Brooklyn and Queens, and Coney Island.
