There have been plenty of smart glasses introduced by different companies. For example, google Glass, which was too much of a gimmick to be practical. Other examples weren’t a success either. However, Meta And Ray-Ban have worked together to create a new type of smart glasses. Let’s take a look at it.

Meta And Ray-Ban Smart Glasses

There is an LED light and a 12-megapixel camera on each side of the frame. With this camera, you can capture photographs in high resolution and 1080p films that are up to 60 seconds long. Even spoken commands like “Hey Meta” can be used to carry out tasks without having to physically move.

These glasses lack a screen, but they do feature speakers close to your ears. They are said to have louder audio, deeper bass, and crisper sound than the earlier Ray-Ban Stories glasses.

These glasses’ internal hardware consists of a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen1 Platform SoC and 32GB of storage. A 32-hour extension is also provided by the charging case. They require roughly 75 minutes to charge completely. With an IPX4 rating, these glasses are also built to handle a little water.

Price

The Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses with Regular Lenses start at a price of $299. It costs $329 for Polarised lenses and $379 for Transition lenses if you like them. Additionally, there are 150 various frame and lens design options available, allowing you to personalize them.

You may pre-order them in 15 nations, including the US, Canada, Australia, and certain European nations if you are eager to get your hands on a pair. Starting on October 17, the glasses will be offered for sale in these areas. Sadly, Meta has not yet stated when they would be accessible in India.
