Sony PS5 already supports the Discord Voice chat feature. However, Sony is bringing in an update which allows players to access voice chat directly from the console. Furthermore, other features are coming. Let us take a look.

PS5 Direct Discord Voice Chat And More
The update will be gradually rolled out to PS5 users in the following weeks. It will begin with Japan and Asia, then Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the Middle East, and eventually North and South America. To use this future feature, you must update your console to the newest system software and link your PlayStation Network and Discord accounts.
To initiate a Discord voice conversation directly from a PS5, players must first pick the Discord tab in the Control Center’s Game Base. Here, select a Discord server or DM group to join, then your desired voice channel. You will be notified when another Discord user contacts you, allowing you to join right away.
