Patch 4.03
CD Projekt RED had just released The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update 4.03. The Patch includes performance enhancements for ray-traced reflections and global illumination. Additionally, depending on Geralt’s proximity and perspective, the problem with ray-traced vegetation shadows “popping” is resolved. The main reason for the update was basically to get the game to current standards. The since the game was going to be released on next gen consoles, It could use some changes. All the extra horsepower provided by these consoles were used for ray tracing and higher resolution textures.
This has made the fans of series really happy. The love and care the developers had been giving to the game since its release has been tremendous. All these changes were meant to keep the players coming back to the game. And this has certainly paid off.
