Attrakt is gearing up to introduce a new girl group in the first half of 2024. The company is planning to debut 7 to 9 members doubling the size of Fifty Fifty, the four-members group that made their debut last year. Moreover, Attrakt is holding an audition program to select the members of their new girl group. The agency is putting lot of effort into this audition, as they are determined to create a group that can be immediately put into a new girl group. While a specific audition schedule has not been finalized, Attrakt is meticulously considering its internal audition plan.
Attrakt currently collecting songs for the group’s debut album from domestic and foreign composers, and plan to select five songs to include in the mini album. Over 1,000 demo songs have been received and the company plans to carefully select five of them for inclusion in the debut album
Notably, Fifty Fifty gained widespread attention when their single “Cupid” secured a spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. However, Attrakt CEO Jeon Hongjun is planning to present the new girl group’s debut song as a new genre of music that is completely different from ‘Cupid’, which was Fifty Fifty’s debut song.
In addition to their new girl group, Attrakt is currently in a legal dispute with Fifty Fifty members regarding their exclusive contract. Despite the ongoing dispute, they are determined to continue their musical challenge by launching a new girl group.
