Players were already unhappy about the direction the Call of Duty franchise was going. Instead of making the game realistic and immersive, they keep bringing weird skins into the Multiplayer. Skins like Nicki Minaj and Homelander are making the game more like Fortnite. And now the CoD MW3 Emoji bundle is the worst of the worst things to happen to the game.

CoD MW3 Emoji Skins

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s fourth season begins on May 29, and the four skins included in its Tracer Pack: Emoting appear to be causing outrage among a sizable percentage of the game’s fans. There are many skins in the collection, including Gundam and Tracer. People are upset about the emoji skins, though.

The four operator skins included in Tracer Pack: Emoting are all variations on standard yellow-faced emojis but with hideous twists. The four operator skins included in Tracer Pack: Emoting are all variations on standard yellow-faced emojis but with hideous twists.

Some gamers accuse the makers of disregarding the game’s core player base to attract younger players, whom they believe are the target audience for the “goofy” skins. Other users who appear to enjoy the genre for the realism of its military combat scenarios expressed dissatisfaction with Call of Duty Tracer Packs, which began adding non-traditional components of the game long before the 2023 edition of Modern Warfare 3 was released.
