The Deadpool 3 release date can be closer than expected. It’s not because Disney has started to give it priority. Instead, it’s because Disney’s other Projects are not on the right track for the time being. The writer’s strike is still prevalent as ever in the States. With writers demanding safeguards from AI and fair pay to confirm their jobs against AI. More and more people joining the strike every day seem like it is not going to settle down soon. With the lack of manpower, Disney and other production houses had to change their priorities.

Deadpool 3, Captain America, Star Wars and more
The shake-up has affected the dates of many shows and movies. Most of them are getting delayed including Captain America and Blade. However, instead of Getting Postponed, one show was Pre-poned. Deadpool 3 is now going to get released on 3 May, 2024 which was originally scheduled for November. So it’s going to be the first from the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the next year.
Disney delayed all other shows and movies. Captain America is now set to release on 26 August 2024. And Disney will release Blade in 2025 instead of the next year. There are a lot of shows and movies whose dates are not known. Like Loki, Secret Invasion, Avengers: kang dynasty and secret wars. So it is assumed that Disney will provide Marvel fans with a lot of stuff.
Avatar sequels are also heavily delayed, with their release dates reaching 2031. Disney expects to release the 3 sequels, Avatar 3, 4, and 5 by 2031. Star Wars cinema releases have also seen a shake-up. With the release dates spreading from 2026 to 2027. Other Star Wars Universe show may get released early such as Acolyte and Skeleton Crew.
