The members Fifty Fifty have registered individual trademarks for their names and the group’s name, according to a report by OSEN. The trademarks were registered on June 19, on Group name Fifty Fifty.
Attrakt, the group’s agency, said that they were “completely unaware” of the trademark registrations. “We found out through an article,” a representative for Attrakt told OSEN.

The trademark registrations come amid a legal dispute between Fifty Fifty and Attrakt. On June 19, the four members filed an application for an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract with Attrakt. The members are seeking to terminate their contract with Attrakt, citing an alleged breach of contract by the agency.
Attrakt has denied the allegations of breach of contract. The agency said it is “grappling with the situation” and will “take legal action against the members’ unilateral decision.”
The trademark registrations and the legal dispute between Fifty Fifty and Attrakt have raised questions about the group’s future. It remains to be seen whether the group will be able to continue as a unit.
