The NxSys Aero Chair is the brand-new gaming chair from Cougar. The thing that makes this special is that it features a massive 200mm fan built into the rear of it. It does sounds nuts. However, lets discuss if its just a gimmick or not. And if it even works, is the price worth it?
A Gaming chair has never been a field of innovation. However, Cougar is trying something new. A 200mm RGB-equipped fan is located inside to keep you comfortable throughout long gaming sessions. It claims that the sessions will be comfortable but most people sure raise some eyebrows. The chair, which will be displayed at Computex 2023, isn’t the first piece of furniture that Cougar has created. Currently, its product line includes desks and fanless seats. However, since the company already makes a lot of cooling equipment, fan gaming chair doesn’t seem that weird.

NxSys Aero Gaming Chair
From a glance, the chair looks exactly the same as any other one. The massive fan in the middle of the back rest is the main component. Cougar calls the mechanism “air bender”. In essence, it slots the fan into the void between the front and back of the chair. This mechanism allows the ‘air’ to ‘bend’ around your back. This will guarantee air much needed air circulation.
The other gaming chairs range all over the place. The premium ones can go upto a 1000 Dollars. This thing is also a premium gaming chair, even without the fan. So prices can go up to couple grand range. This is expected tho. Maybe if the tech gets normalize we will see some more of them. Which is certain to a decrease in price. The chair is not available for purchase yet. It will be in few weeks. The reviews are the only thing that can determine if this is worth it or not.
