Hulu, one of the most popular streaming platforms on the market, has recently launched a new vertical sidebar interface for its Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku users. This interface update is yet another move by Hulu to enhance while viewing their favourite TV shows and movies. They aimed the update at making browsing and selecting content much easier with its new layout and design.

The Vertical Sidebar Interface on Hulu

The vertical sidebar interface is a user-friendly interface that features a clean design to make viewing content more intuitive. The new interface has replaced the traditional horizontal navigation menu with a vertical sidebar on the left-hand side of the screen.

This sidebar features various categories, including Home, Live TV, My Stuff, Browse, and Account. It can access each category by clicking on the appropriate tab located in the sidebar. Home: The Home tab includes a list of personalized recommendations for users, including TV shows, movies, and other content based on their viewing history. Users can easily find content that they have recently viewed or added to their watchlist.

Live TV

The Live TV tab is for Hulu’s Live TV subscribers. It displays a TV Guide with all the available channels and an option to filter by genre.

My Stuff

My Stuff tab is where viewers can access their saved TV shows, movies, and other content. Users can easily add shows and movies to their watchlist, and the platform will generate notifications when new episodes are released.

Browse

The Browse tab includes a variety of categories like TV shows, movies, and sports. Users can utilize the search bar at the top of the screen to search for content based on specific keywords. This tab allows viewers to browse by genre or according to curated collections.

Account

The Account tab is where users can access their account information, including subscriptions, preferences, and billing information.

Conclusion

Hulu’s new vertical sidebar interface for Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku uses promises to provide improved ease of access to view all Hulu content in a simple and organized manner. With curated collections, personalized recommendations, TV Guides, and more, Hulu makes it even easier to discover the shows and movies you love.

The updated interface is great for new and existing Hulu users, allowing them to find content quickly without any hassle. If Hulu continues to introduce similar updates, its user base is bound to grow.
