Metal Gear Solid 3 is regarded as one of the, if not, the best in the series. This is why it is such as big deal that this specific game is getting a remake. After Kojima left Konami, fans gave up on new Metal Gear games, the good ones at least. This is Konami’s way of cashing on the franchise without making a totally new game and disappointing fans, again. And now, we are so close that we even have a release date for MGS Delta Snake Eater.

MGS Delta Snake Eater Release Date
On August 28, 2025, the game will be made available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. “I want to create a remake that honours the original in its purest form which means its story, characters, locations, and more will remain true,” stated Noriaki Okamura, producer of the Metal Gear Solid Delta remake, in an interview with GamingBible.
The renowned David Hayter reprises his role as Snake in Metal Gear Solid Delta. The game is an accurate frame-by-frame replica of the original game powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game even uses the same voice-acting soundtrack as the 2003 original.
In addition to its stunning new graphics, Metal Gear Solid Delta has improved gameplay in a number of ways, most notably in the use of stealth, a key element of this cherished series.
Whether this revamp will be sufficient to appeal to both new and seasoned series fans is still up in the air. However, Snake Eater is an excellent place to start because it is a prelude to the entire trilogy.
