Netflix has confirmed the second season of the live-action series, with creator Eiichiro Oda revealing that it will cover the story up to the Drum Island arc. This includes arcs like Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Twin Cape, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island.
The second season introduces Joe Tracz (Percy Jackson and the Olympians) as a writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner, joining first-season co-showrunner Matt Owens. Steve Maeda, who co-led the first season, will continue as an executive producer. Production for the new season is already underway, with Deadline reporting an expected release date in 2025
