Even after all this time, it feels like the PlayStation 5 was just released. They are such a unicorn, at least at the place I live. I still have yet to see a PlayStation 5 in person. This can also be attributed to the lack of units and the absurd price of the system, especially considering the scalpers. However, this is not stopping Sony to start working on the PlayStation 5 Pro codenamed, Project Trinity.

PlayStation 5 Pro Details
The PlayStation 5 Pro project is codenamed ‘Project Trinity’ following the theme of The Matrix-based names.
According to keytogaming, Trinity has been in development since early 2022. Despite the fact that dates are not yet confirmed, it is believed that PS5 Pro demo events are already underway. And a lot of different studios and companies have received the development kits already.
The exact specifications of the system are currently unknown. However, sources have revealed that Trinity will have 30 WGP and 18000mts memory. As for the console’s performance goals, the PlayStation 5 Pro will aim for enhanced ray tracing, a new “performance mode” for 8K resolution, and increased and consistent FPS at 4K resolution.
The console is in development and is aiming for a November 2024 release date. Trinity appears to be the last significant piece of PlayStation hardware for this generation. And as for the PlayStation 5 Slim, it is definitely in the works too. And I am actually more excited about the slim version.
