Redmi, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, is aiming to introduce a second-generation Redmi Pad. This happened after unveiling the first generation model last year. The tablet, most likely known as the Redmi Pad 2, has not yet been given a release date. However, Digital Chat Station put shared some information. Which was, mostly regarding the specifications and features.
Since the specifications are leaks, they may not be 100% true. But as with leaks, they are pretty close. We are not sure the pricing. But it can be speculated. The date is speculated to be in the 3rd Quarter this year.

Redmi Pad 2 Price
Digital Chat Station did not leak any information about the price of the device. However, given the specifications, it will be pretty easy to speculate.
Since most of the components carry over from the older Redmi Pad 2, the price can be in the same ball park. Which was 14,999 ; 17,999 and 19,999 for the 3,4 and 6 GB variants respectively.
Redmi Pad 2 Specifications
Firstly, let’s talk about the screen and display. It is speculated that the Redmi Pad 2 will have an LCD screen that is approximately 10 inches in size with . The large screen can supports a refresh rate of 90 hertz and has a resolution of 2560×1440.
Talking about the camera, it’s not looking that great. The Device will most likely feature 8 Megapixel Primary rear camera and a 5 Megapixel front camera. So it’s assured you wanting be taking any high quality photos with it.
An 8,000 mAh battery with 18 W rapid charging capabilities is reportedly included. Which also the same as the last Redmi Pad.
On the note of processing, The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU will run the Redmi Pad 2. The Device will most likely be following the single CPU/GPU architecture. So, not dedicated GPU. However, it is still a speculation. The device may feature the same RAM options as the last model. That is 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB variants.
