Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake
Konami has been collaborating with actor David Hayter, of Big Boss and Solid Snake. The performer contributed to the original series as well. While he was at it, the actor also played various Konami games, including the impending MGS3 remake. In the most recent tweet, Hayter states that “it was spectacular” after performing through the bridge section.
This will provide a great deal of comfort to many who were concerned about Konami’s remake. Since the game’s announcement last year, Metal Gear Solid Delta has prompted feedback from fans. The fact that Metal Gear Solid Delta debuted with an awful trailer, which undoubtedly didn’t excite fans at the time, didn’t exactly help things.
In Konami’s remake, there is even uncertainty over Hayter’s return to the title role of Naked Snake. The publisher has just stated that the voices in Metal Gear Solid Delta would “remain as they were in the original game,” which makes it sound as though Konami is just using the same audio from the game’s 2003 release.
When the newest video in the Metal Gear Solid history lecture series is released, perhaps Hayter can help to clear up some of the uncertainty and heighten interest in the remake. The actor teased in the first video that the upcoming segment would focus on the original Metal Gear Solid 3, however, it’s also possible that Hayter’s playthrough of the game could be highlighted.
