Call of Duty has been releasing a new game every year except for some cases. This is about to be the same for the Call of Duty 2023. The developers would have released the game in 2024 because of their plans. Mainly related to Warzone expansion. However, the plan has been dropped and work has reportedly been started on Call of Duty 2024, which is expected to be a sequel to Modern Warfare 2 2022.

Call of Duty 2023 Details
Call of Duty 2023, will be a sequel to Modern Warfare 2, reports claim. It is the 3rd game named Modern Warfare 3 in the franchise after Modern Warfare 3 (2011) and Modern Warfare 3 remastered.
However, Reports claim that this title will be developed by Sledgehammer Games instead of Infinity Ward, who are the original creators of the MW and MW reboot series. Sledgehammer Games is responsible for developing games like COD Vanguard and World War 2. These games don’t really have a really good reputation in the franchise so it sounds weird to choose them to develop their most beloved series in the franchise.
Activision will release the Call of Duty 2023 on the next and last-gen consoles. Which include Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. Even after some back and forth with PlayStation, the game will see a full release on the console.
Call of Duty 2023 Release Date
Developers will release the beta in October as reported. Playstation will see the Beta from 6 to 12 October while the rest of the platform can expect the beta release to be around 12 to 16 October.
Activision will most likely release the game in the 3rd or 4th Quarter of 2023. The campaign mode for Call of Duty 2023 will apparently launch on November 2, 2023, while the full release will come a week later on November 10, 2023. However, Activision will announce the exact release date later.
