YouTube Playables
YouTube Playables is now available to Premium Subscribers. Arcade games can be played in the Playables section of your app or desktop website. YouTube is now notifying some Premium subscribers that they can enable the feature through the settings.
After granting access to the Youtube Playables tab, you can choose among 37 games that are currently playable, including Angry Birds Showdown. The best part is that none of the games require downloads; they can all be played on a desktop computer or a mobile device using the YouTube app.
It’s obvious that YouTube is going ham on getting users to buy premium. They also just took arms against adblockers too. However, instead of giving users a good enough reason to get premium, they are just giving some games that anyone can get for free. It doesn’t work. Most people go on the platform to watch videos, not play games. Let’s just see how it works out.
