PlayStation has always been the leading game console. I know the Xbox exists but still, it barely competes with PlayStation. Especially in terms of games. Playstation exclusives have always been its strong suit. Even back in the Playstation 2 era, the exclusives were the sole reason you got a PlayStation in the first place. The Playstation has always had great exclusives from racing games to platformers. And with the newest console in the series, the case is no different. let’s look at some must-play Playstion 5 exclusives.
Demon Souls
The original Demon Souls was a PlayStation 3 exclusive. And now the remake, developed by BluePoint Games is a PlayStation 5 one.
It’s the game that started it all. The original Souls experience. The remake gives it a new coat of paint and it amazingly displays the capabilities of the PS5. The game looks gorgeous while still carrying the spirit of the original. The game looks even better than Elden Ring at some points which is ridiculous considering it came before the ER.
Gran Turismo 7
As the eighth entry in the series, Gran Turismo 7 has quickly elevated to the status of one of the greatest racing games of all time and a top PS5 exclusive. The game did see some controversy on release but most of them have been fixed.
Gran Turismo 7 is probably the best-looking game currently. The fidelity of the vehicle models is so high other games can’t even compare. (except maybe Grid Legends) The lighting, high framerate, high-quality models, and amazing driving physics make the game look and feel photorealistic.

Horizon – Forbidden West
Horizon Forbidden West is an Action-Adventure RPG. Forbidden West is notable for being a large-scale and rewarding sequel that enhances several aspects of the original game, such as combat, navigation, and control responsiveness. The game takes place in an apocalyptic wilderness filled with forests and robotic dinosaurs. The premise and world are definitely something different from other games.
Along with having a more developed supporting cast that makes interaction with NPCs feel engaging and gratifying, it also has a much wider variety of quests and activities that can take hours of your time. The game is a great time sink and a Playstation exclusive.
Ghost of Tsushima – Director’s Cut
Ghost of Tsushima offers a great experience and tells the story of the Mongolian invasion of Japan and specifically, the Tsushima island. However, the story is not the only part of the game which is good. The gorgeous open world and combat have their own appeal too.
While the original game was only on the PS4, the director’s cut is a PlayStation 5 Exclusive. The director’s cut offers 4k resolution support, 3d audio, 60 FPS, and many more features.
These are just a few of the many great PlayStation 5 exclusives available. If you’re looking for some must-play games, be sure to check these out.
