In May Hwasa was sued for her performance at a university festival by Student Parents Human Rights Protection Coalition. The complaint claimed that Hwasa’s performance on the Sungkyunkwan University Festival was indecent.
The parents’ organization that filed the lawsuit proclaim that Hwasa’s dance moves in performance constituted a “perverted sexual act.” However, As per the Seondong Police they found no evidence to support this claim.
In a statement, the Seongdong Police Precinct said that they had “comprehensively reviewed the case and questioned both parties. They also confirms their decision not to pursue criminal charges against Hwasa after a thorough review of the case.
The police decision comes is a relief to Hwasa and her fans. Recently , Hwasa just released released her solo EP titled “I Love My Body,”
