It’s been nearly 6 years since the release of the original Nintendo Switch. It was underpowered the day it launched and could not match the performance of its competitors. However, it still ended up being one of the best-selling video game consoles of all time. The real reason could be attributed to its portable nature and great games. The device is still receiving new games even to this day. However, it’s starting to show its age. Nintendo Has been teasing the Switch 2 for a time and it seems like we may see the release that date revealed this very month.

Nintendo Switch 2 Leak
A Tweet by Nash Weedle claims that a video game development studio has received the Nintendo Switch 2 Dev Kit. The Studio in question is MercurySteam. The Studio is a well-known one and has had relations with Nintendo before. They also developed metroid prime so it’s plausible they received the Dev kit.
if this is true this means there must be other studios who may also have the dev kit. Nash Weedle also claims that we may see the announcement regarding Nintendo Switch 2 this month.
Well, is known that Nintendo has been working on a sequel for the console for a time now. Some people even claim that the Legend of Zelda – Tears of the Kingdom was originally supposed to release on the newer console. Well, they probably weren’t ready with it yet.
Anyway, if the console releases soon, Nintendo will definitely re-release the Tears of the Kingdoms with graphic updates and optimization. This is because it’s apparent the game definitely needs it.
