Silent Hill 2 Remake – Time To Beat

In response to comments on Twitter, creative director Mateusz Lenart stated that the remake should take 16-18 hours to complete on the first playtime. He went on to say that it could take much longer, depending on how you play.

According to him, if a player wants to experience everything, it will take approximately 20 hours. “I’m not including the new game and all endings, of course. In terms of duration, a 16- to 18-hour gameplay puts the remake ahead of the completionist time for 2001’s silent hill.

There were definitely going to be some time differences between the two games, considering the pacing and cutscenes. However, this is nearly double the time of the original game. Let us see if the remakes introduce new chapters and, twists and what else.
