Technology is getting smaller day by day. First, we had computers that were as big as rooms. Then we had those bulky beige PCs. Later smartphones came and then Smartwatches. The increase in power and decrease in size is what technology strives to achieve. And now, boAt has announced the first-ever Smart ring in India.

boAt Smart Ring
The Smartring’s first objective is to replace the Smartwatch. boAt Smart ring will contain a variety of health functions typically found on smartwatches. There will include a heart rate sensor, a SpO2 sensor, a sleep tracker, and a period tracker as well. The Smart Ring will also have a body temperature sensor to help record body temperature and detect any health risks. In addition, you will be able to track your daily fitness by tracking your steps, distance traveled, and calories burned.
However, Since the Ring is not actually connected to the wrist and has a smaller surface area for monitoring, the results may not be as accurate as contemporary Smartwatches.
With the use of heart rate variability analysis and activity records, the device will also help track the body’s recovery levels. Furthermore, the Smart Ring will include smart controls that will allow users to control compatible gadgets.
We don’t know when the boAt Smart Ring will be available for purchase or its price. it will be curious to see how it operates in the. To be honest, from my experience, I’ve found rings actually more obtrusive than watches. Their proximity to the fingers can make them somewhat inconvenient. But that’s just me.
