New Jeans, Seventeen, Lim Young-woong, and BLACKPINK topped the first half of the 2023 Circle Chart.
New Jeans took first place in three categories with their single “OMG” released in January. This was followed by the pre-release song “Ditto” and the album’s representative song “OMG”, which created a global syndrome with “Hype Boy”.
Seventeen topped the album chart with their 10th mini album “FML”. The record of 5,453,734 copies sold is almost twice as high as that of their 4th full-length album “Face the Sun”.
Lim Young-woong took first place in the download category with his first self-composed song “London Boy”. Moreover, He also monopolized the top spot with the double single song “Polaroid” and the new self-composed song “Grain of Sand”.
BLACKPINK took first place in the social chart 2.0 category for the first half of 2023. Along with the comeback of their 2nd regular album “BORN PINK” in August of last year, and first place in the social category for 8 months until March this year, JISOO, the first solo debut member, took first place for 2 months in a row.
